Maci started dance lessons this past summer. They have been hard at practice for their recital on June 16th. The parents were invited in to watch to add a little distraction in the room while they prepared for the big show. Faber and Micah and Marley came along. It was a thrill to watch her dance. She has really picked up so much in less than a year. Micah wanted so badly to go and stand on one of those little colored pieces of tape and be part of the class. Marley sat in Faber's lap the whole time and hardly moved.
I'm not one of those mom's who has high expectaions of my child becoming everything or anything that I was or was not. My only hopes for them is that they will find joy in what the decide to do. And that they will give what ever they choose to do 100% of their efforts and 100% of their hearts. If they want to dance, cheer, play ball, or nothing at all. I'll be here to support them hoping that they will become all that God has planned for them to be. As for now, Maci has chosen to be our little dance...
